Hello Tweets,
I've been very on several fronts lately and have mostly been birding
close to home. This morning I hit up a couple of the better migration
spots in Edmonds. Things were pretty quiet until I was headed to my
car when I heard a faint "plickity" call of a Western Tanager. I was
eventually able to get a look at the bird perched high trees. This is
pretty early for WETA in Snohomish County. The earliest eBird record
before this was 4/28. I also had a relatively early Wilson's Warbler.
