Hi Tweets,

Did a bird census this morning of a 2-mile section of this park, including marine birds on the Puget Sound. I eBirded 44 species, and was especially delighted to hear/see:

300 WESTERN GREBES--6 large rafts out on the sound
2 CASPIAN TERNS--sand bar near Creek outlet
Singing, and saw just a few:
16 PACIFIC-SLOPE FLYCATCHERS
7 ORANGE-CROWNED WARBLERS
9 BLACK-THROATED GRAY WARBLERS
4 WILSON'S WARBLERS
2 BLACK-HEADED GROSBEAKS
1 PURPLE FINCH

Happy Trails,
