Hi tweets,
So were spending the week camping along the Hood River. First off, it is simply lousy with cedar waxwings, who are busily flycatching over the river. I did not know they did that; is it typical?
Second, we're seeing lots of swifts during the day, high up, and they seem large. Is it possible they're black swifts, or is it just poor depth perception on my part and they're just Vaux's?
