Hi tweets
The American golden plover continues and a single red knot also present.
Black bellied plover number seems to be 200 plus.
There are more. Short billed dowitchers than yesterday? 8-10 ,a few western sands,2 spotted sands on the outer beach, 18 killdeers on docks by our house at the east end of Tulalip bay . Last week there were over a Dozen purple martins on our dock with many babies in the gourds .they must have fledged because there are only 3-5 Martins there in early morning or evening this week.
*** Best access to the spit is walking thru mud at end of mission beach road on south side of Tulalip bay...best time is incoming tide at least 8' . See DAIRIKI tide chart for Everett.***
good birding,
Maxine Reid
