Each year a Pileated Woodpecker eats apples from our tree. It appears that in the following video the WP is tossing aside the apple peels. (My grandmother would not have approved.) We have never had a Woodpecker eat any of our Bartlett Pears. The deer eat both the apples and pears and a whole lot of other things.
