Subject: [Tweeters] Snohomish County Northern Waterthrush - No

Other than not falling into the swamp, I had the same experience as Josh
Adams in my search for the Snohomish Northern Waterthrush. Heard some chip
notes that sounded good for this species, but the bird never popped out.
However, walking down the trail about three-quarters of a mile, I did find
a couple of nice clusters of birds that included Black-throated Gray and
Townsend's Warbler (low quality photos), Cassin's, Red-eyed and Warbling
Vireo, Western Wood-Pewee, Brown Creeper, Pine Siskins, Evening Grosbeaks
(a pair). Townsend's certainly was a nice surprise and the best look I have
ever had.
