Dear Dan and tweets, I don't know what the regulations are for Marymoor, but according to City of Seattle regulations (SMC 18.12.265), drones are prohibited in Seattle city parks. If you see one, you should report it to park authorities (if any are present), and/or the police (though probably not 911 - usually a drone would not be an emergency), along with any documentation you can provide, such as cellphone photos, license plates, etc.

I don't know of any formal studies, as you requested. However, YouTube does show raptors attacking drones, especially drones that appear to threaten nests. I don't know what nesting owls would do if a drone appeared, but there are nesting Barn Owls at Magnuson, and nesting Cooper's Hawks in various parks. - Connie, Seattle
