Merry Christmas to all you birders! My neighbor had a really good yard
bird yesterday, and it came to my yard today: a Harris' Sparrow. We had
one on our CBC, but in Ok. Co. It joined the sparrow I had yesterday, a
White-throated. I had both today, along with the usual White-crowned. In
Ok. Co. yesterday we saw a Golden-crowned Sparrow. No Snowy Owls,
although we drove all the best roads today. However, we did find one
Short-eared Owl, so it was a good day. Happy birding in 2017! Meredith
