Subject: [Tweeters] Wesport Pelagic Update - Try Saturday Feb 27th

Hi folks ?

Well, the Westport Pelagic scheduled for yesterday was ?weathered-out?, due to 12-foot swells, wind chop, bar conditions, etc. As always, the safety and comfort of the birders is the priority on a pelagic trip.

However, ?? there is hope of a tree, if it be cut down, that it will sprout again?!

Skipper Phil Anderson sent the following:

Hello Winter Birders:

You know what they say, if you don't succeed at first try, try again, and that's what we are going to do. We are going to try one more time to do a winter trip on Saturday February 27. We have never been out at this time of year but with all the crazy things going on with the ocean, El Nino, and the warm blob we thought it was worth another try. If you, or someone you know, is interested in signing up please contact us by e-mail or phone and we will see if we can put together a trip.

Contact info is by calling Phil or Chris at "Westport Seabirds (360) 268-9141 (leave a message and time of day for call back, after 5:00 p.m. PST is the best time to call), or by e-mail pmand001 At comcast Dot Net)" http://www.westportseabirds.com/

Cheers,

Jon. Anderson
