Good Afternoon Tweeters,
My husband found this link, and its likely already been circulating on
here, I've not had much time to do any checking.

Good news is we have a pair of Great Horned Owls somewhere in our 5 acres.
Of course there are 20 acres of forest on one side I dare not go on, and
then with the wetland part of all the properties here, I am having a
difficult time finding any nest. There are also three houses to the right,
that have five acres each. The male showed up early in the fall, just at
the beginning of the forest. He appeared just after we had a lot of brush
cleared out of a lower part of the forest. Then of course all my bunnies
disappeared! So I think that little change of habitat has probably made
this more inviting. Our first summer and fall, we had both Barred calling,
and one day a family of Western Screech Owls moved through.

?Happy Birding everyone,
Vicki Biltz
Buckley WA.?
