Dear Tweeters,
Whitehorse County Park in Darrington always seems like it should be a great place for birds, but I rarely find many birds there. Today, though--20 February 2016--there were two Horned Larks in the infield of Ball Field Three. At first, they were at second base, but then they moved to shallow center field, probably hoping to get out of the inning by giving up a run for an out.
Yours truly,
Gary Bletsch
