Hello Tweeters,

Two days ago I posted some pictures of the Common Redpolls
that have been along the eastern shore of Green Lake for the past couple
weeks. I went to Green Lake again today with my good camera to see if I
could get better photos. The sun came out, there was no wind, and the birds
were close at hand. Along with my husband and a couple friends, there was a
feeding frenzy of other birders and photographers at the lake today too.
Our obvious interest prompted a number of passers-by to ask what we were
looking at. None of the small crowd of people seemed to bother the birds at
all. They moved periodically from one birch tree to another, but apparently
not because of anything we onlookers had done.

At the risk of boring you, I am posting more pictures of the redpolls that I
took today.
