I saw three low flying VIOLET-GREEN SWALLOW yesterday morning in my yard on Discovery Bay (Jefferson County). This is the earliest date for this species for my yard. They flew around for about 8 minutes allowing good looks at all three. I am now hoping to see a Tree Swallow for an early arrival date.

A PEREGRINE FALCON flew by on the water side of the house in the afternoon.
