There are signs of early spring but the winter birding is still good! Lots of MUDDY and slick roads made it fun to drive in and some, are not passable, if you don't have 4 WD! At times the birding was extremely slow and we had to work to see 'target' birds. Love seeing many Mountain and Western Bluebirds perched on mullein against the snowy setting and the Red Crossbills were singing in full force! Great running into Michael Hobbs, Gary Kelsberg, and Sarah Safranek-a super bunch of nice birders!
