Last night I was contacted by the person who photographed the GIANT WOOD-RAIL in Clark County. Today I visited the area in eastern Clark County where it was found and talked to the neighbors and learned that they have been hearing the bird since last October or November and identified it by recordings that they made of the call. While I was being shown the creek area in the steep blackberry filled ravine, we heard the bird call several times. Not chase-able as of yet and still no idea where it could have come from.
