If you're a relatively clumsy house finch, anyway. The wind has my satellite feeders, loaded with sunflower seed, really swinging. The house finches have figured out that they can arrow in and grab hold of the perching area and jam their heads in and chow down. I don't like it, but it's what they do. A little bit ago one misjudged his approach and the feeder swung around just when he got there, and WHAP, down he went. I watched for a few minutes as he sat, dazed, on the ground, and then flew hesitantly off. Meanwhile, the chickadees are all business: zip in, grab a seed, zip off again. It pays, sometimes, to be little.
