Hi Tweeters,
I just sent Megan an additional email because I think that my previous email
may cause confusion.
I misspoke about Outlook. Technically, what I meant was that if a user
doesn't have a mail client installed on their computer then attempting to
click on mail to: links may or may not work.
Some of you may go to Outlook.com to use your email address. This doesn't
mean that you have actually installed Outlook. For example, I use a
Hotmail.com email address and before I installed Outlook I used outlook.com
to access my email.
If any of you out there would like more information about mail clients visit
the link:
http://stackoverflow.com/questions/27176849/what-does-mailto-do-when-there-i
s-no-email-client.
One important thing that was mentioned in the thread was the following
quote:" As a web developer you don't have any control over the software that
a user chooses to open their email, since it's handled by that user's web
browser settings, or the OS. If a user has no email program installed on
their machine and no operation defined for "mailto" links in their browser,
nothing would happen."
Hope this clears up any confusion. :)

Hi Tweets,
WOS webmaster says I need Outlook to be able to use the email links, but I
do have Outlook.
I have a feeling I'm going to be screwed for this registration; if I sound
pessimistic, it's because it has never worked for me even though I'm using a
computer that seems to work for everything else I do.
