Hello Tweeters,

A big highlight of today's CBC on Anacortes' Thompson Trail by south
Fidalgo Bay was a flock of about 20 Common Redpolls, feeding in two
alders by the trail (paved walking and bike path) just south of the
parking access on 34th Street. A lifer for me and my husband, and a real
treat on a bright, cold, clear morning in golden dawn light. We didn't
see them again, despite four hours of good bird counting in the area,
and the fervent wish for a lifer by another team member.

Wishing you all uncommon common birds this year!
