To my mind, the use of the term "ranchers" to describe the occupiers of the
Malheur NWR is totally inappropriate. Neither one of the Bundy's who are
the leaders are ranchers. Ammon runs a truck fleet repair business and the
other runs a business in Utah. All one has to do is look at their faces and
their clothing to realize they are not real ranchers, if they were they
would not have time for such foolishness. To be sure there may be some of
the occupiers who are actually ranchers, but I would expect that very few of
them are. They talk the talk, but don't walk the walk. Or as the Texans
say "They have the hat, but no cattle." I was raised on a farm, so I know
what farming and ranching is like.
