It was my intent to alert those who have not yet gone to Cassimer Bar Access Road that it is a public road completely adjoined by private land. There was a similar experience in Skykomish with the Crested Caracara. A property owner did not like the influx of birders on an otherwise quiet road. The homeowner was upset and birders were upset. I don?t know for certain that any birder or bird photographer trespassed on the Cassimer property where the hawk owl tends to perch. But if only one person does it, the consequences affect everyone. The homeowner may be totally out of line in confronting birders on the public road, but if one person trespassed, then everyone suffers. It was a friendly reminder with no intention to chastise any particular individual. That?s the end of it from me.
