Hello all,
You folks on the west side see swallows occasionally in winter - but a
BARN SWALLOW was seen yesterday in Lowden west of Walla Walla - it must
have antifreeze instead of blood!

I walked Whitman Mission area today - just west of WW - our warmest day
in ages - actually saw the SUN today. Bewick's Wrens, Song Sparrows,
Juncos and blackbirds were all singing like spring.

Found a Fox Sparrow putting the Walla Walla county yearlist to 132.

Happy birding, MerryLynn
