Travelling Tweeters might have some opinions to share about various birding tour operators. Since I am planning a trip to Peru, I am considering some of these operators:
Manu Expeditions
Kolibri
Amazing Peru
Amazon Birding Expeditions
Amazon Trails Peru
Aracari
Andean Birding
As I have remarked before, I wish there were a "TripAdvisor" category for birding tour operators. The website Cloudbirders looks promising, but most of the links there appear to be broken, so I can't follow up on a search for trips by operator, even though the website can produce a list of trips sorted by various criteria.
In the past, some Tweeters have posted warnings about one particular operator somewhere in the Neotropics, one that repeatedly cheated birders. It would be nice if there were some place where one could compare tour companies in the style of Consumers Reports.
