Hello all,
Posting our field trip on tweeters since we are unable to contact anyone
on the WOS website - and the write-ups for past field trips seems to
have disappeared off the website.

The 14 annual 'OWLS BY DAY" Field trip will meet at Hood Park in western
Walla Walla County on February 6, 2016 at 7:30 a.m. This is an all-day
field trip traveling 75 miles and walking over uneven ground at parks 3
miles. Dress in layers, bring food and drink, no dogs please.
Target species include Northern Saw-whet Owl, Long-eared Owl, Barn Owl,
Great Horned Owl. Will also be looking for winter species such as Common
Redpoll, Gray-crowned Rosy-Finch, Northern Shrike.

Hood Park is at the junction of I82 and SR124 - in Burbank, WA. We will
be traveling up along the Snake River stopping at Corps of Engineers
Parks and HMU's.

To sign up contact Mike and MerryLynn Denny at m.denny at charter.net.

Hope to see you for this fun field trip. Sign-up early. We will start
taking sign-ups today.
Thank-you Mike Denny
