Hello Birders,

At its January meeting, the Washington Fish and Wildlife Commission will be briefed and hear public testimony on periodic status reports on 4 state-listed species. 3 of the species are birds: northern spotted owl, snowy plover, and greater sage-grouse. (The fourth is the western gray squirrel.) This briefing is in advance of a Commission decision about the future status of these species: maintain current listing, up-list, down-list, or de-list.

The meeting will be held at the Heathman Lodge in Vancouver, WA on Friday January 22-Saturday January 23. The periodic status briefing is on Friday morning. The agenda and reports are available at http://wdfw.wa.gov/commission/meetings/2016/01/agenda_jan2216.html
