Yesterday, I saw a very interesting pale Red-tailed Hawk at the field adjacent to Metzler Park off of SE Green River Rd in SE King County. It was pale enough about the head and breast that when I first drove by I thought it was a Rough-legged Hawk, but when it flew I saw a very pale red tail. It was somewhat distant and I didn't get good looks at other field marks so I don't know if it was leucistic or if there's a chance it was a Kriders (pale subspecies) but I thought I would get the word out if anyone is interested in looking!
