> Occasionally Karen and I like to escape from the incessant rains of King County to the rains of other counties, in this case Clallam and Jefferson. Not only did we experience two days of rain in Sequim, Washington's banana belt, but most of Sequim lost power Wednesday evening. Despite all of this the birding was productive and enjoyable. Here are some highlights.
