4PM today, in addition to a spectacular show of four Short-eared owls
preforming, we had three Barn Swallows and at least one Tree Swallow in
flight over the wetlands near the first grove of Cottowoods reached after
departing the parking lot - approx. 200 meters in. My earliest sighting of
Barn Swallows in ten years of recordings from area.
