Hello, this is the Audubon Society of Portland Rare Bird Report. This report
was made Thursday January 28. If you have anything to add call Harry Nehls

The South Beach State Park MOUNTAIN PLOVER continues to be seen. Male TUFTED
DUCKS were reported January 23 at the Marine Park in Vancouver and along
Minto Bridge Road in Hillsboro. A MANX SHEARWATER was off Cape Arago January
23.

On January 25 a female REDPOLL was coming to a feeder in Toledo. The Yaquina
Bay Science Center BULLOCK?S ORIOLE continues to be seen. On January 21 over
200 BROWN PELICANS were at the South Jetty of Yaquina Bay. The Fort Clatsop
National Monument PINE GROSBEAK continues to be seen.

The Ridgefield NWR PALM WARBLER was seen again January 24 in the River S
Unit. On the same day three BARN SWALLOWS and a TREE SWALLOW were at the
Steigerwald NWR near Washougal. A ROSS?S GOOSE is now being seen around 34th
and High Streets in Eugene. On January 21 two male RUFOUS HUMMINGBIRDS were
reported near Grants Pass.
