Here is an interesting piece about the rights of photographers taking photos of public and private areas. It?s by no means a comprehensive one, and the writer admits to some areas where there is limited knowledge, as well as recommendations for other places (links, etc.) and resources from which to get more info.

I?d like to add that I am just the messenger. I know nothing about these kinds of laws, policies, or rights. I barely know anything about photography, so please take this piece for what it is - just a list of items compiled by someone who appears to have SOME knowledge. It does appear to contain several helpful ideas.
Just thought some of you might be interested in light of recent events in the birding community.
