Is anyone aware of something along the line of AirBnB targeted towards birders?
So much of the cost of travel these days is the lodging.
I've been very interested in joining the Marymoor Thursday morning group but I'm just not a very good very early morning person, maybe my next life.So the thought occurred to me of having a place to stay down in that area or anywhere in the state for a night to save a few morning hours driving would be a real bonus. This got me thinking if there is such a system in place. Anyone aware of such?
We'd also like to put it out there that we have a couple comfortable private rooms for any guests who might consider such an option in Birch Bay, WA.10 minutes to Semiahmoo, 1:20 to Vancouver, 1hr to Reifel Bird Sanctuary etc.
Being able to share local info and hear their stories in exchange for the same has been a great part of this birding adventure.Sure there are hotels and such but the evening conversations just are not the same.
Cheers,
