Hi Tweeters,

Finally got up to see the Merlins (ok, I do also do a few other things beside bird!!). At 11 this morning, they were active and got some good views of them preening and zooming
around back and forth. Saw no food transfers, but lots of kee, kee, kee-ing. Not having seen them in a while, it was surprising to see how small they are in the raptor lineup.

Other than that, our Bushtits have fled their "gated community" (aptly named by Dianna Moore), a male Anna's has the motorized sound (missing wing feather?) I've heard before, and hubby told me the Pileated was here one day. As I type, the Towhee is feeding. They've been here daily, but think they're nesting next door. The Chickadees that nested in the dovecote have also fledged.
