Subject: [Tweeters] Greater Yellowlegs eating tadpole at Redmond

We watched a Bristle-thighed Curlew in Hawaii that was eating some sort of marine snail. Pick them up and then throw them down hard. Too fast to get very good pictures of. Bird must have a really strong neck.

> This video shows a Greater Yellowlegs eating a tadpole at the Redmond Retention Ponds which are located north of Perrigo Park on the north side of NE 95th Street in Redmond, WA. Midway through the video a Spotted Sandpiper attempts to steal the tadpole. The resulting chase was too rapid for me to video. So the video resumes with the Greater Yellowlegs continuing to tenderize the tadpole, a process that took almost 4 minutes, but I limited the video to under 3 minutes.
