Hummingbirds would do this about the flowers they claim as their territory.

Subject: [Tweeters] Blk Headed GB / Barred Owl ? Caryn/Wedgwood

Tweeters,

This am had a gorgeous male BHGB at our feeder. It was immediately escorted
away by two Annas like a couple of F-18s off site. There's no hummingbird
feeder in that area, guess it was a case of size matters or "not in my
territory".

Also, nite before last (am actually) had two separate Barred owl callings at
1ish (called for an hour!) and again 4am.
The first had totally different call tone than the other. Wondering if
male/female can be told by "voice" or is it age related?

Caryn / Wedgwood
