Hey tweets, to paraphrase Winston Churchill, "Now this is not the end. It is also not the end of the beginning. It is perhaps the beginning of the end." In other words, I'm reaching the final stages of writing and laying out Seattle Audubon's Centennial book, due at the printer's July 30 and due back in our hands in time for Seattle Audubon's Centennial gala on Oct. 22. I'm happy to report that both my eyes are now twitching uncontrollably, and I find myself occasionally wandering around at night with straws in my hair, as P.G. Wodehouse might say.

On the plus side, the book is looking absolutely fantastic. Oh just wait until you read the stories of dozens of people who, over the past 100 years, have changed the planet. Their stories are by turns inspirational, heart-wrenching, and funny. And the art and photos that accompay each story are among the best in the world.

Which brings me to ask of you, dear Tweets, another favor.

Does anyone out there have a great hi-res photo of a Prairie Falcon? I need something that would fit in a space that measures 4 inches wide by 3 inches tall. The photo I have at the moment is a wonderful photo, but its proportions are intractably wrong. I'm not fussy about the pose, though it would be nice to see the falcon doing something besides perching, which they seem to do most of the time. - Connie, Seattle
