Years ago, the neighborhood Asian Silver Pheasant liked to sit on the deck with my sweet little corgi, Edith Anne. I wouldn?t call them best friends, but they did seem to enjoy each others company.

Subject: [Tweeters] this boxer and birdy story has me fascinated
so i dug up some videos that i could watch here in the EU, and thought you might want to see them too:
this video (1:03) features rusty the boxer with the wee nestling on his back:
https://youtu.be/PftGJGPhtxo
this video (1:22) features rusty the boxer, snoozing with "birdy":
https://youtu.be/rv5f-gxmFdU
and these two videos absolutely blew me away. (keep in mind that this is a highly active working dog breed that is just 2 years old!)
this video (0:25):
https://youtu.be/1hg_aLzFUiY
and this video (0:39):
https://youtu.be/rBUbX9YM-l4
how did this dog become so gentle with a tiny, fragile being??
cheers,
