Just back from a 5 week birding trip to British Columbia and the Yukon. There were 2 main areas of interest: The Peace River with all those eastern birds (the Peace is east of the Rocky Mountains!) and the arctic birds of the Yukon. It was fun to catch up on the eastern songs, learn about range and habitat for many of the birds wintering in our area and simply explore.
