As of 7/18/16, there were a few Merlins seen and heard up in the Edmonds area - more specifically, in the parking lot areas behind the Community Health Center on the west side of Hwy 99 (just south of Les Schwab), in about the 23300 block. There were adults (both male & female) and one fledgling. The next day (yesterday, the 19th), there were none seen or heard. As they must have been from a fairly nearby nest site, I thought that maybe a couple of you who don't live that far from this clinic, might also have heard the fledglings OR would be interested in helping try to locate this Merlin family in some spare time. Both I and Kim McCormick (banding study principal) would welcome your sleuthing and any results it brings, in the next few days.

Appreciatively,
