>> Hi Tweets,
>>
>> Back up to Warm Beach again with all the relatives and checking out the mouth of the Stillaguamish/Hatt Slough Estuary on the incoming tide. There is a narrow window of time when they stack up on the sand bars of the estuary before the tide pushes them off to driftwood throughout the bay. This evening I hit it at 5:30 pm and had quite the collection:
>>
>> 198 BB Plovers - most still in breeding plumage
>> 67 Greater & 1 LESSER Yellowlegs
>> 16 LB Dowitcher
>> 7 Least Sandpiper
>> 3 RUDDY TURNSTONE - one still in bright ruddy plumage.
>>
>> Closest public boat access point is on Marine View drive, just south of Stanwood
>>
>> Check on eBird for full list and map location.
>>
>> Good birding,
