Hey tweets, a research student at the UW Bothell campus has asked me where the Foster Island crows roost now. FYI, some years ago, there were as many as 18,000 that roosted at night on Foster Island (near the Arboretum). Then the crows decided to change their roost. Some went north to the UW's Bothell campus, where they still have a roost. Some went south, but I don't know where. This researcher has already sample fecal matter from the Bothell crows. He would like to sample another roost, but I don't know of one. Anyone out there know of a well-populated crow roost? - Connie, Seattle
