I have posted some pictures of the Broad Tailed Hummingbird seen by Russ Koppendreyer, Jim and Sue Parrish and myself yesterday at 620 E. Chestnut Street in Walla Walla.

If anyone is contemplating a visit, here are some thoughts:? The feeder is in the back yard of the residence of Linda Hagen who first found and reported the bird.? Linda welcomes visitors.? The sitting/viewing area is largely exposed during much of the day and it is VERY warm and sunny.
Although the bird has visited at least once each day, it has been irregular and some visits have been very brief.? It has not been seen before 10:00 a.m. nor after 7 P.M. and at least for the past two days has been seen ONLY after 3.? There are between 4 and 6 Black Chinned Hummingbirds that visit much more regularly throughout the entire day.
There are no restroom facilities - a challenge if there is a long wait.
Good luck.
