I was fortunately on my way through Tacoma yesterday when Bruce Labar found and graciously shared the Snowy Egret at the retention pond on 43rd Avenue in Fife. ?
Observing the Egret, we saw it catch many small fish. ?Where did these fish come from. ?It did not appear that the pond has inflow from another source. ?Were they planted there? ?If so why? ?Inquiring minds would like to know.
