Hello, this is the Audubon Society of Portland Rare Bird Report. This report
was made Thursday June 9. If you have anything to add call Harry Nehls at

A male NORTHERN PARULA was singing June 3 at Sunset Beach State Recreation
Area south of Warrenton. On June 2 A YELLOW-BILLED CUCKOO was photographed
at Fields. A singing LEAST FLYCATCHER was seen during the week at the Fern
Hill Wetlands. On June 5 a bright male ROSE-BREASTED GROSBEAK visited a
feeder at South Beach south of Newport.

On June 6 a LAPLAND LONGSPUR was at Flores Lake. A LARK SPARROW was
photographed June 4 at Cape Meares State Park. EASTERN KINGBIRDS are now
back at the Sandy River Delta, a traditional nesting area. An adult
WHITE-FACED IBIS was seen during the week at Blount Slough east of Canby.
