As previously reported, an Eastern Kingbird has been seen on the Fobes Rd.
side of Ebey Slough in Snohomish. Today, I found one sitting on a nest in a
tree on the river bank just north of the causeway leading to the dike, then
saw a second bird that perched along the slough 200-300 yards south and
flew west across the slough. Poor quality photo of the nest under gray
conditions in my ebird checklist. I also saw a Red-breasted Sapsucker feed
an immature bird near the kingbird nest.

I was unable to locate the House Wren reported along 52nd St. SE near
Bickford and Fobes. Saw a bird in the berry bushes under the power lines
but no song and could not get a good enough look to identify. Maybe on a
sunnier day.
