Dear Tweeters,
Poor Rose-breasted Grosbeak! It got to hold the title of "rarest bird in Bletsch's yard" for less than a month!
This morning (13 June 2016) ?at 0630, a BROWN THRASHER showed up in my back yard. It stuck around for maybe five minutes, flew to a Douglas fir, and disappeared. Several local birders raced up here just in time to miss it. My eBird checklist will have a bad photo or two.
