Hello - Late this morning along the Obstruction Point Road in Olympic National Park I saw a hummingbird land in a snow field, then hover above and repeat three times. Visibility was horrible with a thick ground cloud on the meadow, so I was unable to tell which species I was looking at. I'm curious if others have observed the same and what the bird might be doing.
