I've selected the Lazuli Bunting as "my" "Fourth of July" holiday bird.

So, that means that I need pictures of these red/white/ and blue birds!

These pictures will illustrate my on-line "For the Birds" column in the Shoreline Area News (www.shorelineareanew.com)

I like using local pictures by local birders. Your name will be printed with the picture.

It is always so fun to see all the different pictures that Tweeters people send to me. I can always find ones that illustrate my article points--sometimes I write my article specifically to use a picture.
