After seeing and photographing this Peregrine Falcon today , I looked up the range maps and rediscovered that our area of Southeastern Washington / North Central Idaho is shown as migration or Summer range only.

For several years, we have been fortunate to have year round birds.
This year, once again their have been at least two pairs seen in every month to include December thru March and nesting.
?
This bird is one of a pair that have nested successfully for several years just West of the Clarkston Golf and Country Club along the Snake River.
One of the same pair was seen on 23 February.
?
On 8 January, a different pair was seen in the cliffs at Ten Mile Rapids, ten miles to the South on the Snake River.
