Hello, this is the Audubon Society of Portland Rare Bird Report. This report
was made Thursday March 3. If you have anything to add call Harry Nehls at
503-233-3976.

The South Beach MOUNTAIN PLOVER and the Yaquina Bay BULLOCK?S ORIOLE
continue to be seen. On February 28 a LESSER BLACK-BACKED GULL and a
KITTIWAKE were on the Columbia River at the Kalama, WA Boat Basin. A RUSTY
BLACKBIRD was seen that day at Woodland WA.

The Reedsport MOCKINGBIRD was seen again February 27. The Sauvie Island
MOCKINGBIRD continues to be seen. On February 25 a MOCKINGBIRD was at
Baskett Slough NWR.

On February 26 a ROSS?S GOOSE was off the viewing platform along Reeder Road
on Sauvie Island. A GOLDEN EAGLE was photographed March 2 along Rentenaar
Road on the Island. A GOLDEN EAGLE was at Finley NWR February 27. Near
Finley NWR the PACIFIC GOLDEN-PLOVER continues along Hwy 99 at the south
jct. of Smith Loop Road. On February 27 a male ALLEN?S HUMMINGBIRD was near
Takilma in Josephine Co.
