The Say?s Phoebe, reported yesterday by Russ Koppendrayer, was still present this morning at the same spot on Willow Grove Rd. [6349 Willow Grove Rd.] hawking from fence posts and compost piles.

After trying in vain to turn up a Say?s Phoebe in Wahkiakum [did see 2 Black Phoebes near the Julia Butler Hanson NWR HQ], I headed back into Cowlitz Co. Not much turned up on Woodland Bottoms, but at Kalama River Rd., gulls were gathered on the bridge for Hendrickson Rd. Among the other gulls was a [or the?] 2nd cycle Glaucous Gull ? I believe earlier reports have put a 2nd cycle Glaucous Gull in Woodland along the Lewis River, and at Woodland Bottoms ? so maybe it was the same bird moving north a bit?
