> I am visiting from out of town and was looking for input on a sighting from the north jetty at ocean shore WA yesterday (3/14/16). I saw a white-rumped storm-petrel flying in the channel just inside the mouth of the bay. I would assume leaches from the range maps, but I wondered if folks had any local knowledge of what would be around. I understand back home in California that leaches are quite rare near-shore. Due to rough conditions and high wind I was not able to sway identification either way from flight style/wingbeats.
